Banksy’s “Monkey Sign” Resin Statue from Medicom Toy!

Ever since we first announced that UK artist Banksy had — through anti-advertising mainstay Brandalism — officially licensed designs to Medicom Toy, specifically to be part of the Sync. sub-brand, fans have been rabidly awaiting to see how many of the street artist’s iconic images would be translated into statue form… And here's the third. Riding high on the sold out releases of “Love Rat” and “Flower Bomber” comes the instantly recognizable “Monkey Sign” design, which the Apologies to Banksy brand had previously translated into vinyl as “Laugh Now.” Of course, this time around, it's not vinyl… Standing over 14-inches tall, this is a polystone resin rendition that is emblazzoned with the "Do Nothing, You'll Live Longer" slogan on its sandwich board attire. An extremely limited release, these almost 10 pound pieces are on presale through the Japanese marketplace until March 10th, 2016 at 7am Pacific time through the CJ Mart online shop for ¥45000 (approx. $400) apiece. This statue is expected to ship late in July 2016.
