ANNOUNCED: Travis Cain × Kidrobot’s “BFFs, Series 3!”

The seemingly popular “BFFs” blind boxed series from Kidrobot disappeared in 2011, with Series 1 (March 28, 2009) and Series 2 (June 18, 2011) seemingly being the entirety of Travis Cain designed line. But, now, Kidrobot have announced that “BFFs, Series 3!” is coming! As has been historically true for the line, the roughly 2- to 3-inch tall vinyl figures will embody the "Love Hurts" mentality, depicting pairs of friends that should be mortal enemies. According to the packaging, featured in Series 3 will be two-piece mini-figure depicting a skull with worm, a pie with pizza cutter, a balloon with cactus, a mushroom with shovel, and — of course — a heart with a knife through it! Pictured certainly appears to be a ready to release case, so we can only hope that these will be appearing in stores shortly!
