Sporting lensless Cazals, suede Pumas, a crisp Lacoste shirt, and a "Fight the Power" hair pick, hip artist
kaNO has created this hip-hop inspired piece for the
previously announced DTA Dunny Show 2 at
The Clutter Gallery. A one-of-a-kind, hand-painted 20-inch tall Dunny, this “K-rock” design is the embodiment of early '80s — specifically '82 — early street styles. And, as you can see teased below, on the backside of the head is the Playboy bunny and the back of the body is kaNO's own tag! Another outstanding addition to what is shaping up to be a truly killer exhibition. This one-of-a-kind piece will be available at the showcase opening this weekend, though those interested in acquiring this work should join
The Clutter Gallery Preview List, members of which will get an early online peek at pieces and will have the first chance to buy the works in the show.
The "DTA Dunny Show 2" is a custom group exhibition that will open on January 9th with a reception from 6-9
PM local time and be on display until February 5th, 2016 at
The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508.
Participating artists include: Abell Octovan, Andrea Kang, Artmymind, Brent Nolasco, Charles Rodriguez, Chris Ryniak, Dolly Oblong, fplus, Amanda Louise Spayd, Gary Ham, Gianluca Traina, Ian Ziobrowski/Nugglife, Jenn & Tony Bot, kaNO, Mab Graves, Quiccs, RxSeven, Seymour, Sket One & Jamie Lee Cortez, and Yu Maeda.
