Pepe Hiller has been working these last few weeks on a limited edition wooden figure that he's had in mind for a long time, but was unable to ever craft — possibly due to his two year long hiatus after the birth of his daughter. Regardless, he's finally found the time to make his “ZARO” wood sprite characters, a huggable creation in both 4½-inch larger and 3-inch smaller scales. Heck, they are even stackable if you are lucky enough to buy a pair! Limited to a total of 18 pieces, nine in each size, with an option of three different woods used in construction: Alder wood (light brownish), sapele wood (reddish brown) and smoked oak (dark brownish). All pieces are signed, numbered, and oiled & waxed with a beeswax finish, the tiny arms are made out of solid brass. Available today (December 1st, 2015) at 1pm Pacific time in
his online shop for $60 and $40 apiece respectively.
