A Bathing Ape (BAPE) × Medicom’s “Astro Boy & Dr. Milo” Figures!

Japanese brands A Bathing Ape (BAPE) and Medicom have teamed up to produce official Astro Boy pieces in the latter's VCD — Vinyl Collectible Doll — line. While the stylized depiction of the robotic Astro Boy is certainly recognizable, his creator — Doctor Tenma — is transformed into Dr. Milo, depicting BAPE's ape mascot Milo as a mad scientist! Standing roughly 6¼- and 5-inches tall respectively, this set costs ¥9500 (approx. $79) and can be ordered by those outside of Japan through White Rabbit Express. Expected to ship by the end of January 2016.
