Max Toy Company’s “Office Cat” & “Office Tiger” Debut at Design Festa!

With an expected debut this weekend at Design Festa, Mark Nagata’s Max Toy Co. are thrilled to introduce “Office Cat” alongside “Office Tiger,” which uses the same body with a bonus head. Pictured above is the test shot of the piece cast in soft Japanese vinyl, which appears to only have one point of articulation at the neck. Conceptualized by Nagata, the detailed design was executed by Javier Jiménez and sculpted by Cristina Ravenna, with toy production coordination handled by Yo Miyamoto with iron molds by Nakadai-san and vinyl casting by Shimizu-san. While no online release has been announced yet, one is surely coming soon…
