I recently saw Guillermo del Toro’s
Crimson Peak in the theatre and it is easily one of his most visually beautiful projects, potentially outdoing the wonderments of
Pan’s Labyrinth even, though I thought the plot was a bit trite and uninventive… I wish del Toro could mingle the creative plots of his early career with the lush atmospheres of his modern works. But I digress… This is all of relevance as Méxican artist
Jump Jumper Ant unveals her “Crimson Ghost” custom 3-inch Dunny, inspired by the look of the beautifully creepy ghosts in
Crimson Peak. Perfectly transforming the Dunny’s head into a shrunken and shriveled thing, or at least giving the illusion of it being that way, this piece also incorporates her resin-case "glass eyes" in sheer black and handmade clothing in a vibrant red… Available, either as a one-off or micro edition (it's not clear), those interested in purchasing this piece should contact the artist at
