Wisconsin-based artist
Scott Wilkowski is probably best known for creating his infected versions of designer toys, carefully sculpted skeletal structures that resin within the original art toy's exterior cast as a resin shell. But he also releases those same skeletal interiors as independent pieces of sculptural art, as is the case with “Arrhythmia,” a limited edition stand-alone bone composition that was used within his infected rendition of Luke Chueh's Target figure (see
HERE). Borrowing its name from the word best known for indicating an irregular heartbeat, these 6-inch tall — with stand — skeletons are cast in glow-in-the-dark, white, and black marbled resin and available now (for
the second time) on
Wilkowski's website for $75 apiece, while quantities last.
