Squink!’s “My Final Breath” evolves into “Surfacing!”

Super clean UK sculptor & painter Squink!’s original “My Final Breath” resin sculpture series was retired last year, as you might recall, and the artist has had many of his collectors requesting a new iteration. Introducing the 2-inch tall “Surfacing,” the happy face adorned evolution that bears a striking fried egg quality to the design. Imbued with a bit more hope than his normal poetic darkness, “this is the life that rises from beneath after my final breath, the escaping spirit.” This debut “Preorder Edition” will be cast in resin by the artist and hand-painted, with a limited edition preorder available for 24 hours… meaning all will have a chance to purchase one, though a preorder limit will be enforced to assure that the artist has time to make all the works sold. Two random orders will receive either the one-of-a-kind monochrome chase (pictured in the background above), or the prototype pearl narwhal spirit version with hand sculpted horn! “Surfacing” will be released this coming Thursday, September 3rd, 2015 at 11 am Pacific time, in the original colourway, as a preorder in the Squink! online store for £35 (approx. $54) apiece.
