Kyle Kirwan’s Mudcat Chronicles expands with… “Vothé!”

Artist Kyle Kirwan’s fictional realm of the Mudcat Chronicles is explored a bit further with the unveiling of a new figure, “Vothé!”

Vothé is from Zevon - a section of Dor ruled by a strict religious caste system. As a member of The Religilous Mer he was born into the highest class, though he's on the low end of that. The Religilous are responsible for all the politics/business/religion in Zevon and are the only ones allowed to access the scripture that rules their land.
The Zevonese are known for their scientific accomplishments specifically in gene splicing. They are responsible for all of the half-breeds in Dor like the Monkey-Men, Laline and the Mer themselves. Vothé is the third son of a successful Theist (a splicer merchant-church leader) and his family has become very wealthy due to their involvement in the Zevonese war with Manchester. His newfound prosperity is giving him a level of privilege and influence he had previously lacked. It has given him a taste for power that he’s enjoying very much.

This 5-inch tall resin piece is completely handmade, including the hand-stitched cloth cloak he is draped in. Available from Kirwan's store on Friday, September 25th, 2015 at 12 noon Pacific time, this limited edition of 10 pieces will cost a mere $50 apiece.
