Geoffrey Gersten x Martian Toys x Prints On Wood - "Close Encounter” diptych & “Night Watch” canvas wrap exclusives!

Martian Toys is ready to announce their 4th exclusive in their PrintsOnWood Artist Series... and this one is releasing this Friday. A diptych piece titled "Close Encounter” by Geoffrey Gersten. While not as well known as previous artists in the series, the folks over at Martian Toys feel Geoffrey's work captures many of the same parallel themes of the Pop Surreal movement and designer toys. Close encounter is sure to catch the eye of vinyl aficionados too. It’s just a matter of time before Geoffrey’s work translates over to the 3D world... Close Encounter is not alien themed unless you consider how alien humanity must seem to sentient beings elsewhere. This is a special release also because it’s their first diptych release. The 2 images — a tank and bear work in conjunction, separately the meaning is lost. Customers will have a lot of fun finding interesting ways to hang them together. The set will release at 6PM EDT Friday, Sept 4th only on MartianToys.com.

In addition to this unique diptych set, Geoffrey is releasing a special canvas wrapped giclee of another amazing piece titled “Night Watch” - 12" x 16". Robot lovers will flip for this print. Tentative pricing is set for $125 for the diptych prints on wood set and $125 for the canvas wrapped glicee.
