American artist Jared Cain, known by the
nom de guerre Nikejerk, present his magnificent “Life Time” sculptural creation. Constructed for
The Clutter Gallery’s
Reinvention exhibition, which asked artists to reimagine one toy as another, this piece emulates the form of a 20-inch tall,
Kidrobot released Dunny but is actually made of an uncountable quantity of toys that the artist accumulated over years. Buying "only like two or three new items" for this work, Cain's creation is actually assembled out of "tons of [personal] memories" and has become a physical representation "of what it's like to be a toy collector, hoarder, artist, and straight-up lover of toys." For those that want the first chance to buy this fantastic piece — as well as all the other pieces in this show — join
The Clutter Gallery Preview List.
