If you haven't seen the trailer for
Turbo Kid yet, which tells a BMX bike laden tale within the post-apocalyptic wasteland of 1997, the watch it now… seriously, go and Google it and then come back. I'll wait. (Nick whistles while he waits.) Okay, so that looks like the coolest tongue-in-cheek send-up of the '80s films ever, right? Maybe I'm overstating it a bit, but it does look pretty damn fun. And evidently the German-based
Goodleg Toys agrees, as he has created action figure prototypes for the film, currently available through
Turbo Kid's Indiegogo campaign. Goodleg made the above-pictured pieces, all hand-cast and -painted, of the main characters in the film: Apple, The Kid, Zeus, and Skeletron. I've gone through all the reward levels and there are currently only 22 pieces of The Kid & Apple as well as 17 pieces of Zeus & Skeletron being offered though no hard limits were announced. Either which way, these look like fantastic figures representing an equally fun film… So head on over to the
Indiegogo campaign and snag your Turbo Kid action figure for $125 or more.
