Many children of the ’70s and ’80s will remember the Jumbo Machinder — or Shogun Warriors — toys, which were returned to the limelight when
Super7 released their officially licensed “Super Shogun Stormtrooper” in 2010. The following year
it was teased that they would be following that piece up with the “Super Shogun Boba Fett,” which never seemed to materialize… until now. As
we'd previously announced, Super7 have partnered with
Funko to bring the toy classics of Star Wars and Jumbo Machinder together again, finally releasing the “Super Shogun Boba Fett” in the “Empire Version” color scheme. Standing a massive 24-inches tall, this piece includes all the features you’d expect: free rotating wheels on the bottom of his feet, spring-loaded missile-firing jetpack, and wrist launcher. Utilizing the same techniques implemented by Japanese toy manufacturers in the 1970s, this Super Shogun is constructed from durable, blow-molded polyethylene with a painted vinyl helmet. Available now in the
Super7 online shop for $200 apiece.
