Super7’s “Masters of the Universe: Giant Size Test Shot” Figures!

Similar to how Gentle Giant upscale the 3¾-inch tall Star Wars figures by Kenner into magnificent 12-inch tall retro art, Super7 have recreated Masters of the Universe figures as “Giant Size” renditions of themselves, the muscle-bound forms of “He-Man” and “Skeletor” becoming a full foot tall! These debut versions pay homage to the “Test Shot” process, with each articulated part being “cast in unpainted mixed color injected plastic parts, recreating the process of the first shot figures created by factories as an injection mold test, using any color plastic on hand.” But you won't be able to score these beauties if you just attend San Diego Comic-Con, as you will have to venture out to the previously announced “Skeletor’s Lair” pop-up at Super7’s San Diego store (701 8th Avenue, Corner of 8th & G), which these versions will be exclusively available at.
