Mutants Unite! Let’s head to Nuke Beach & go surfing!

Artist Louie Chavez’s “Nuke Beach” line of resin mini figures has launched with the first two designs, “Fukushiman” (above) and “Chum Bucket” (below). Both sculpted and painted in a perfectly ’80s reminiscent style, the vibrant colors are a fantastic touch. Like something from a Troma film that was never made, these are conceived as champion surfers who were mutated in a nuclear tsunami during the Fukushima surf competition. Each 3-inch tall figure includes a mutated surf board accessory, a can of glow goop, and even the character’s nuclear stat sheet. With very limited quantities available, you can find this first wave in the Nuke Beach online shop for $65 apiece.
