Maestro of the wooden sculpture,
Gary Ham, returns for this year’s
San Diego Comic-Con with a handmade and hand-painted piece titled “Treeboy and Kid.” Standing 8½-inches tall and 9-inches wide, this magnificent work of art will be limited to an edition of 10 pieces, each slightly customized towards their collector’s personal preferences… Maybe a girl instead of a boy? a personal painted engraving? a different shirt and shoe color? All are possible from Ham! I love the joyful look on the child’s face in contrast to the slightly ambivalent mouth slant that the treeboy has, so please don’t change that… it would alter the whole feel of this work. Available for pre-order at SDCC, those spending the $250 for this work at Booth #5139 will receive free shipping on the final product as well.
