Taylored Curiosities’s “A Day At The Seaside” custom Mini Munny!

While Penny Taylor of Taylored Curiosities has refrained from expanding her custom art toy oeuvre for a while, she once again returns the medium and transforms a 4-inch tall Mini Munny vinyl sculpture into a miniature world that reflects her own childhood. “I grew up by the seaside in a stripey, candyflossed beach town,” recalls the artist. “I rode the helter skelter every summer and whoosed on the swing boats before getting an ice cream and trying to eat it before the seagulls swooped.” Quite literally creating an artistic interpretation of that childhood, complete with sandcastles, this “A Day At The Seaside” piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art made using clay, casting, painting, wire, and cotton on the base vinyl form.
