Emily the Strange’s creator introduces “Kitty Gems” at CatCon LA!

Photographed by industry innovator Tim Biskup to show size and scale, the above pictured resin sculptural work is actually the work of Rob Reger, he who created Emily the Strange. This new cat-centric piece is entitled "Kitty Gem," which is set to debut at this weekend's CatCon LA. The original designs — stretching (above) and napping (below) — were sculpted by Reger himself before he personally handled the molding, casting, sanding, and even polishing of these translucent colored kitties! No word on pricing, but at least the pink colored versions are exclusive for the convention.
