Sanrio × Max Toy Company’s “‘Clear’ Hello Kitty Kaiju” at the JANM!

The fourth and final version of the previously announced “Hello Kitty Kaiju” piece is the above pictured ‘Clear’ version, created by artist Mark Nagata and his Max Toy Company brand specifically for the Hello! Exploring the Supercute World of Hello Kitty exhibition. Standing roughly 4-inches tall, this piece takes Sanrio’s iconic character and attires it in a Kaiju Drazoran costume. Limited to an edition of unknown size, these soft vinyl figures are available now from the Japanese American National Museum shop for $40 each, but are sold in-person only (no email or phone orders allowed).
