Josh Mayhem’s “Transcendence” work of art for the Custom Lil’ Buddha Show!

Originally created by San Francisco-based artist Missy M Toyz, the “Lil’ Buddha” poly resin figurine depicts a Buddha-esque personage that has been painted to have an appearance like bronze. For the forthcoming Custom Lil’ Buddha Show group exhibition, fellow Californian Josh Mayhem has transformed Missy M’s creation into the pictured original work of art, titled “Transcendence.” No longer simply sitting peacefully in quiet meditation, this individual has achieved a higher level, granting access to god's nature and power which is beyond all physical laws. Beautifully executed and spiritually moving, this objet d’art will be on display at Woot Bear Gallery alongside other original works by a variety of talented artists.

The Custom Lil’ Buddha Show, a group custom art show, will open this Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 with a reception from 6-9PM local time at Woot Bear Gallery, 147 Clement St., San Fransisco, CA 94118.
