In the tale "The Call of Cthulhu," author H.P. Lovecraft wrote that the "surfaces [were] too great to belong to any thing right or proper for this earth, and impious with horrible images and hieroglyphs," something that was ultimately "abnormal, non-Euclidean, and loathsomely redolent of spheres and dimensions apart from ours." While he was ultimately describing the Old One known as Cthulhu and his resting place, R’lyeh, Lovecraft could've easily been precognitively summoning forth images of the
Skinner designed "Lolgolth Gnazgoroth, the Illuminated One." Standing 11¾-inches tall, this vinyl atrocity harbors more undercuts and hidden details than one could've ever thought possible. Produced by
Unbox Industries, the pictured colorway will be available at this year's
ToyConUK and
Art Toy Culture Korea, with a small stock of these held back for release in
their online shop, with an expected price of $125 apiece.
