Artist Emilio Subirá shares with us today his new art toy sculpture entitled "Johnny action Painting" the big brother of "Johnny Paint me Motherfu*ker"... bigger, stronger, and now with underwear!!! Hand made of resin, he stands 10" tall and each one will be painted as a one off figure. The first example of this is figure is posted above in a custom he is calling "kiss this" as it's said on his knuckles. Emilio tell us "The Idea was to made an sculpture mixing the concept of "action figure" (a muscled guy in underwear in the tradition of the masters of the universe) with the idea of the original Johnny figure, it is the painted face to give him a painted personality, playing with the abstract expressionism concept of "action painting" used to define the aggressive and automatic method of painting of the american painter Jackson Pollock."
