We've been hearing rumblings that
Kidrobot has opted to continue their color-based sublabels, such as the now iconic Kidrobot: Black, which has released works by the likes of Gary Baseman, Tara McPherson, Junko Mizuno, Alex Pardee, and many others. And the above teaser picture seems to confirm a new color-based series, so welcome the Kidrobot: Brown sublabel into existence! As you can see in the picture, this line will debut with
PON bringing his pigeon-obsessed art to the new label, creating the slightly Dunny-esque "Poo-Head Man" vinyl sculpture. Standing 11-inches tall, this piece tickles my funny bone as well as pleases my artistic eye. Bravo! And since KR: Black featured darker themed, high-end, primarily black pieces, what do you think the KR: Brown's cohesive factors will be?
Please Note: Happy April Fool's Day! The above post is a joke and in no way reflects — to the best of our knowledge — anything that is actually occurring.
