MM Toys tattoos a vinyl toy… and the result is simply stunning!

MM Toys's Mark R. Bentley decided to merge his toy making passion with his tattoo artist day job (at Hip Hop Robot Tattoo in Seattle), taking a vinyl toy and trying to ink it directly using a tattoo machine… After a failed attempt to do this on hard Chinese vinyl, Bentley attempted it on soft Japanese vinyl and — we'd say — succeeded! This is still his test piece, and we're told the process leaves the tattoo needle holes slightly visible and a bit raised, so that you can actually feel the work… some might consider these drawbacks, but I think that sounds like a bonus!
