Revel in the sculptural stylings of
J★RYU, who took his submitted design to the
A.O.S. Dunny Series and reimagined it on a massive 20-inch tall scale! This massive rendition is his unique, one-of-a-kind contribution to the
previously announced "DTA Dunny Show," set to take place at
The Clutter Gallery and done in partnership with
Kidrobot. Titled "F.A.D," this piece was hand-sculpted with epoxy/polymer clay on top of the vinyl base before being painted with acrylics. And the keyhole in its chest does fit a key that, I believe, is included with the piece… but does it open and reveal anything? For those that want the first look at the complete finished piece — as well as all the other pieces in this show — join
The Clutter Gallery Preview List, the members of which will get an early online peek at pieces and will have the first chance to buy the works in the show.
The "DTA Dunny Show" is a custom group exhibition that will open on January 10th with a reception from 6-9
PM local time and be on display until February 6th, 2015 at
The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508.
Participating artists include: 64 Colors, Artmymind, Bwana Spoons, Carson Catlin, Davemarkart, David Finch, DeeTen, Dolly Oblong, Frank Kozik, Gabriel Carpio, Grimsheep, J
★RYU, Jenn & Tony Bot, Jesse Hernandez, Jon-Paul Kaiser, Josh Mayhem, Lou Pimentel, Luke Chueh, Ryan the Wheelbarrow, Scarecrowoven, So Youn Lee, and Wuz One.
