Paper Chop Chop's Tim Saguinsin was inspired by
Huck Gee's "Battle Drone Z: Skull Leader" custom (see
HERE), as it transported Saguinsin back to a time when he'd wake up early in the morning to catch
Robotech on TV. Embracing the nostalgia, Saguinsin started working on his own '80s cartoon inspired paper figure series, but quickly opted to take a brake to create Gee's complex custom Dunny form in paper! Seriously, folks, this is a paper figure! Assembled with 3D foam tape and a small amount of glue, it sits at 5¼-inches tall and stands at 7½-inches tall! Made from colored cardstock paper, with no markers or paint used, all pieces were machine cut from Saguinsin's own designed templates and hand-assembled layer by layer. Sadly not for sale and a one-of-a-kind piece (currently), Saguinsin has stated that he would be willing to make more as long as he had Gee's blessing. C'mon, Huck, please let him do it!
