As we'd previously announced quite a while ago, brilliant art duo TADO designed a series of beautiful (and officially licensed) Star Wars figures that were being produced by Unbox Industries in conjunction with Hot Toys, the latter having handed over the reigns to re-interpret their Star Wars Chubby series… And that's exactly what happened! The "Star Wars Chubby, Series 1" is a twist on the classic matryoshka (or Russian nesting) doll, keeping the core as the figures can be popped open to place the smaller ones inside! With the largest figures being roughly 3½-inches tall, this series provides the fan with wonderfully chibi-esque versions of C-3PO, R2-D2, a Jawa, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Greedo, Yoda, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Boba Fett, Bossk, and Zuckuss.
