Pac23's commissioned custom 10-inch MAD*L calaverita-inspired piece!

For this untitled custom piece, designer Pac23 picked up what appears to be paint pens and executed a beautiful calaverita-inspired line work drawing on a 10-inch tall MAD*L vinyl figure. The color scheme and overall coloration are brilliant, really using that black and gold on white to full effect, but — as a general rule of thumb — the simpler that the piece is, the more precise it has to be… Every inconsistency in line weight, wobble in the illustration, even non-symmetrical aspect, just jump right out at the viewer's eye. A truly nice commissioned work from an extremely talented designer, this might've benefited from a more intentionally asymmetrical pattern placed upon it.
