As we
previously revealed, the backside of
The Disarticulators's upcoming "Oozeball" release depicts a stunningly detailed Man in the Moon with his eye penetrated by the infamous Astronomic Club's projectile (the famed imaged comes from the French film
Le Voyage dans la Lune (
A Trip to the Moon), which is based on Jules Verne's popular
From the Earth to the Moon). Now, above, we see that the front side depicts the classic "Ooze-it" face, inspired by the rubber toy from the '70s/'80s which spewed forth slime from its mouth, nose, eyes & ears when squeezed! The Disarticulators's "Oozeball," as opposed to their norm, is cast in soft Japanese vinyl and was sculpted by
The Amazing Zectron at a massive 3-inch diameter… making it about the same size as a Madball! Being produced in vinyl by
Rampage Toys shortly after
New York Comic Con, those attending the convention can pre-order their copies at Rampage Toys & T
RU:T
EK's NYCC Booth #208, though hard resin prototypes of the piece will be available for sale during the con!
