Screen printed poster producing powerhouse
Mondo takes a journey towards two very popular cult directors work today: Wes Anderson's
The Grand Budapest Hotel, pictured above, and the Coen Brothers's new FX TV series
Fargo, pictured below. The intricate linework and design from
The Grand Budapest Hotel comes from
Vania Zouravliov, who illustrated the gorgeous 24"×36" screen print. Limited to an edition of 275 hand-numbered pieces,
The Grand Budapest Hotel will be $50 apiece.
Fargo's iconic image, courtesy of
Matt Taylor, brilliantly uses the negative space of the 18"×24" silkscreen to reveal the snowy landscape from the show. Limited to an edition of 245 hand-numbered pieces, these will be a mere $35 each! Bearing in mind that most Mondo prints sell out within minutes, the only way you'll have a chance to snag one of these will be by following
Mondo's Twitter feed, as that is where they will announce when the piece is available in
their web shop today (June 17th, 2014)!
