A little late to be part of Detroit's much publicized "RoboCop Day" celebration, screen printed poster powerhouse
Mondo nonetheless recognizes the iconic ultra violent social commentary with… screen printed posters! Pictured above is the piece illustrated by
Tom Whalen, which measures 12"×36" and is being issued in an edition of 300 hand-numbered copies for $45 apiece. Below we have
Kevin Tong's design, both in regular (left-hand side) and variant (right-hand side) versions, which will be limited to editions of 300 and 150 hand-numbered copies respectively. These 24"×36" screen prints will cost $45 for the regular and $65 for the variant with a third version (not pictured) being the regular color combinations screen printed on metal in a hand-numbered edition of 35 copies for $300 apiece. Bearing in mind that most Mondo prints sell out within minutes, the only way you'll have a chance to snag one of these will be by following
Mondo's Twitter feed, as that is where they will announce when the piece is available in
their web shop today (June 12th, 2014)!
