The name “Abella” is the female version of a group of Hebrew names expressing The Breath of God, or simply “breath” or “vapour”. The piece consists of a three-dimensional, free-standing figure constructed from a single piece piece of precision laser-cut 24 pt cardstock with lungs cut from vellum.
