Richard "
LASH" Montanari of
Mutant Vinyl Hardcore unveils the very first edition of the "Toxigon" to be released: unpainted glow-in-the-dark Japanese vinyl (
sofubi) figures. Not only is the "Toxigon" the first 100% brand new hand-sculpted complete toy from MVH since the DX Sludge Demon, but these copies will be unique in the long run… Due to some slight shrinkage in the casting, the tail is smaller than was sculpted and, before the mold was destroyed and replaced, only two runs were pulled with this smaller tail — this unpainted GID version being one of those! Standing over 11-inches tall with 9 points of articulation, "Toxigon" comes complete with his trusty fish stick weapon and good buddy Mackerel Moth omake.
Due to what will surely be overwhelming demand for this piece, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore will be holding a 24-hour lottery. To enter the raffle, just visit the
lotteries section of the MVH site between tonight (May 28th) at 9
PM Pacific time and Thursday, May 29th, 2014 at 8:59
PM Pacific time. Winners will be notified on Friday, May 30th and given directions to purchase their $165 "Unpainted Glow Toxigon" figure (shipping not included).
