J.Shea's "Drifter" custom Skelve for Stranger Factory's "Conjuring Mischief" exhibition!

The mixed media sculptural artist J.Shea transforms the classic Skelve platform into a steampunk-inspired flying ship, a dirigible that glides across the scary skies. Incorporating the Skelve mask as a figurehead on the vessel was a brilliant move, making this piece — titled "Drifter" — all the more memorable of a contribution to the previously announced "Conjuring Mischief" exhibition at Stranger Factory.

"Conjuring Mischief," a group show of Skelve customs, will open on Friday, May 2nd with a reception from 6-9PM local time and be available for viewing through June 1st, 2014 at Stranger Factory, 109 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
