FrankenFactory's three new "Sad City" sculptures for Doubleparlour's "Entanglement" exhibition!

Shea "FrankenFactory" Brittain, probably best known for her WolfGirl creation, has been evolving a wonderfully strange environment through her art for years, a place called "Sad City." Mainly explored through her paintings previously, Brittain's fantastic mask-wearing residents make the transition into three-dimensions for the forthcoming "Entanglement" group show, curated by Doubleparlour. The trio of characters, all emoting radically different visual interpretations of sadness, are simply fantastic in their own melancholy ways.

"Entanglement," a group sculptural show curated by Doubleparlour, will open on Saturday, May 3rd with a reception from 7-10PM local time and be available for viewing through June 27th, 2014 at the 63 Bluxome Street Gallery, 63 Bluxome St., San Francisco, CA 94107.
