Karzworks's "Beelzebub" — oddly rendered through translation as "Baaruzebubu" — is inspired by William Golding's classic novel
Lord of the Flies, though more in title than actual appearance… the latter being directly inspired by Collin de Plancy's
Dictionnaire Infernal and the depiction therein of the devil Beelzebub, whose name means "Lord of the Flies." This new colorway of one of this artist's initial masterpieces stands roughly 250mm (over 9¾-inches) tall and features a stunning array of fantastic details, like the subtle skull-and-crossbones on the wings (an element taken directly from the illustration in Plancy's
Dictionnaire Infernal). Scheduled to ship in August 2014, this figure is available to order now from
HERE until May 31st, 2014 at 7:59
AM Pacific time for ¥15,120 (approx. $148) apiece.
