C.A.S.T. × Chauskoskis's "Semi Korosiya (Cicada Killer)" sofubi figures for Clutter's "Total Atomic Meltdown" exhibition!

Made in an ultra-small micro edition of four pieces, the above pictured "Semi Korosiya" (セミ殺し屋, Cicada Killer) figures were hand-painted by designer Adam Saul of Cop A Squat Toys (or C.A.S.T.). Created for the previously announced "Total Atomic Meltdown" at The Clutter Gallery, these 8-inch tall Japanese vinyl (sofubi) pieces — which are made from a sculpt by Walter "Chauskoskis" Jacott — certainly bring the 'wow' factor, especially with that stunningly precise digital grid pattern detailing! "Total Atomic Meltdown," a group art toy exhibition of neo-kaiju and other strange creations, will open on Saturday, March 8th with a reception from 6-9PM local time and be on display April 4th, 2014 at The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508.
