Darren Clegg of
Klang Customs has been unleashing some impressive customs for a while now — usually with a religious theme — though he seems to have attempted some new directions of late. Pictured above are a trio of 3-inch Dunny customs that Clegg created in collaboration "with some other artists" (left to right): "The Stupid Zombie," "The Dunny Eater," and "The Demon Banker." All three seem to have rather rudimentary sculpting and painting, an uncommon turn for Clegg, which results in rather lackluster final pieces. Though, personally, I do find "The Dunny Eater" to be quite interesting, as it is an innovative take on the platform. Then, pictured below, are some pieces Clegg conceived and executed by himself: "What Lies Beneath" (left) and "Tyrion Lannister" (right). The "What Lies Beneath" custom 3-inch Dunny has a wonderfully resculpted monster body, though the tropical island hat could've used a bit more definition. And, straight out of the
Game of Thrones television series, "Tyrion Lannister" is a wonderfully lifelike sculptural rendition on a 4-inch Munny of the Peter Dinklage portrayed character; and it is easily, to my eye, the most impressively executed of the group. All five pieces are currently available from
Collect and Display for £35 (approx. $57.50) apiece — except the Munny, which is rightfully £80 (approx. $131.50) —
