The graphically sophisticated designs of
Laurent Durieux are lent to three of Alfred Hitchcock's masterpieces —
Vertigo,
Psycho, and
The Birds — courtesy of
Mondo, who are releasing limited edition poster-sized prints of each. Pictured above, on the left and in the middle, are the 24"×36" screen prints for the James Stewart classic
Vertigo. Made available in the regular red edition and the variant green hues, the former being limited to 375 hand-numbered copies for $60 apiece while the latter is limited to 175 hand-numbered copies for $90 apiece. Then, pictured above on the right, we have the film that took the story off the written page and introduced the world to Norman Bates and the Bates Motel…
Psycho. Limited to an edition of 325 hand-numbered copies, this 24"×36" screen printed poster will be $60 apiece. And then, finally, we have the man vs. nature flick,
The Birds. Pictured below, these 36"×24" screen prints will be available in the regular green (below left) and the variant red (below right). Each hand-numbered, the regular version will limited to an edition of 325 copies for $60 apiece and the variant version will be limited to an edition of 150 copies for $90 apiece. Bearing in mind that most Mondo prints sell out within minutes, the only way you'll have a chance to snag one of these will be by following
Mondo's Twitter feed, as that is where they will announce when the piece is available in
their web shop today (February 11th, 2014)!
