Yosuke Ueno x Mighty Jaxx - ‘Negative Never Again’ Skull Astronaut art toy prototype revealed!

The folks over at Mighty Jaxx continue to pump out some of the cleanest, most inspired, art toy figures around... and most recently they teamed up with Japanese artist Yosuke Ueno to recreate a once 2D painting (bottom left) into one awesome looking art toy! Entitled ‘Negative Never Again’, this Skull Astronaut is amazingly detailed... and as you can see from the above photo, the WIP prototype is coming along nicely!
We did some digging and found an actual 3D sculpted model of the figure in its entirety that appears to have been created by an artist by the name of DummyGhost... and if you compare that photo with the prototype photo, you can see that they are pretty spot on! No word on the medium of choice, but knowing Mighty Jaxx, we can almost assume that this will be a resin art multiple. One thing that Yosuke Ueno is known for is his bright and vibrant color pallet, something that will likely be the most challenging aspect int he production of this figure... and we can't wait to see the finished piece!
