Freak Store's Fonzo platform continues to prove its diverse potential as hordes of artists create pieces for tomorrow night's
previously announced "Fonzo Loves California" exhibition. Like
Scribe's piece (Top Left), which replaces the arms with vicious looking wing-like appendages and intricately paints the beast into a six-eyed monster! By contrast,
Task One's "I'm Sorry" (Top Right), is an adorably sculpted creation that uses the platform as a mere guide to create something completely new on top of.
GerardMDS (Bottom Left), a masterful artist who creates colorful works by affixing string in patterns, delves into almost dark waters with his "Mimpi" piece, its toothy maw slightly open; but, instead of being a nightmare, its name means "Dreams" in Indonesian! And the always impressive
Rsin (Bottom Right), showing off his ultra-crisp colors and lines — as well as subtle but beautiful sculpts — on this iconic piece.
