Holy crap, things just got a bit dark for the previously announced Blamo Toys fifth annual custom show at Toy Art Gallery! The above pictured contribution by Chauskoskis is laden with grave undertones but is such a simply yet innovative approach to the figure. Little touches, like the shovel being held behind his back, completely and utterly make this piece memorable… as well as just a little frightening… but in a completely good way, of course.

Blamo Toys's "5th Annual Custom Show," a wooden Billy-centric group exhibition, will open on Saturday, December 14th, 2013 with a reception from 7-10PM at Toy Art Gallery, 7571 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, CA 90046.
