For the upcoming,
recently announced '
ARTISTS ASSEMBLE! - Stan Lee’s YO! Custom Figure Show' that opens TONIGHT, Friday November 15th at
Toy Art Gallery, artist
Jon Paul Kaiser put his spin on this vinyl figure! Rocking his nicest pair or underwear, and featuring that amazing black/white color pallet that we have all come to love from JPK is the infamous "Der Kaiser"... and according to Jon, there there's a little character history; - "
He's called "Der Kaiser" and he's something of a notorious super-villain capable of bringing Europe to it's knees... His super-villain outfit is inspired by the formal Prussian dress uniform from the turn of the century, coupled with his domino mask to hide his identity, and of course the Prussian eagle with a teutonic 'K' as his emblem on his chest." The clean lines and use of negative space really make this masked villan a true one of a kind art piece. Head on out to TAG from 8-10 PM tonight to see this piece, along with so many others in person!
