Patrick Wong releases a new custom 6" Kidrobot Fatcap entitled "Frozen Krylon". The piece comes complete with custom sculpted features, an ice platform constructed from balsa wood, and shown holding a small can of "Red Devil" spray paint. Patrick mentions "
The concept of "Frozen Krylon" supports the graffiti-themed Fatcap figure while introducing some of the formal aspects of graffiti writing. Before there was acrylic art spraypaint like Molotow and Ironlak, artists used high pressure hardware store paint like Krylon. With only a limited color selection to choose from, the technique of freezing a can upside-down and mixing aerosol cans was employed to create custom colors." I can't get over how crisp Patrick's customs are... so good, and his concepts are executed so well! This dude continues to pump out some of the best customs I have ever seen... keep your eyes on him, folks... as I am sure this is just the tip of the iceberg for this talent!
