Bruscolino's outsider art take on Bol23's "Lollo the Parrot" DIY resin figure!

Marco "Bruscolino" Sgammotta's newest art brut outlet is the nearly 4-inch tall "Lollo the Parrot" DIY resin figure, made by his fellow Italian artist Bol23. Taking the normally smooth surface of the piece, Sgammotta builds up a textured hide for the bird — as well as the trademark massive googly eyes — before applying a simple but effective paint scheme. The only downside to this direction is that the single point of articulation on the figure, at the neck, is lost in the application of the texturing.
