If you're a fan of the Super Mario Bros. franchise, then you probably know the saga that was the initial sequel:
Super Mario Bros. 2, in Japan, was simply a more difficult version of the original redone, but Nintendo of America didn't think this would be well received by their consumers so they instead opted to have the game
Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic altered and rebranded as
Super Mario Bros. 2. But what does this have to do with the customizer known as
Shez? His most recent piece, a 4-inch tall Mini Munny rendition of the villainous Shy Guy, probably wouldn't exist if it wasn't for this decision on Nintendo of America's behalf… which would be an absolute shame! With sculpted detail work, what really sings on Shez's newest custom creation is his first forays into airbrushing, which lend clean color variation in spots while overall accentuating his work. We can't wait to see what he does next with the airbrush, as this certainly brings his game to the next level! And, for those that can't wait to support him, this fantastic one-of-a-kind "Shy Guy" piece is currently in
his web shop for only $100.
