Kasey Tararuj, also known as
One-Eyed Girl, has created a trio of not-so-terrifying monstrous customs for the
previously announced "Monster's Lullaby" exhibition. Pictured above is "Snoodle, the Daydreamer," an 8-inch tall custom Dude (from Dudebox) vinyl figure that likes to loose himself in thoughts while flying his kite. Then there's the "Barber Shop Quartet: Squeedle, Irk, Bop, and Doug" (below left), assembled from mashing several vinyl toys together and customizing the whole into an ol' timey barbershop quartet that couldn't split up even if it wanted to! And, finally, we have "ZeeZee Snorington, the Sleepwalker" (below right), a customized Munnyworld Rooz figure.
"
Monster’s Lullaby," a group exhibition, is currently available at
Strychnin Gallery, Boxhagenerstr. 36, 10245 Berlin, Germany.
Participating artists include: Seymour, Skeleton Heart, Cliff Wallace, Leslie Ditto, Kasey Tararuj, Rsinart, Nomi Chi, Niark, Celine Rouge, Carisa Swanson (Goblin Studio), Maria Rubinke, Lydia Dekker, Annie Bertram, and Chris Brett.
