Chewbacca, Mr. T, and Himmler?!?! "The Pinks" solo show by Scott Scheidly @ Spoke Art

Spoke Art gallery in San Francisco is pleased to present "The Pinks" a new exhibition of original paintings by Florida, USA-based artist Scott Scheidly, and just upon first glance, this show is going to be all about pink... a no brainier as it's in the title. "The Pinks" explores the cultural and social implications of color and how the predefined notions that accompany these perceptions can alter one's identity and subsequent world view, and Scott Scheidly does this effortlessly with the above interpertations of "Mr. T", "Chewbacca", and "Himmler"!!! Featuring thirteen acrylic on masonite paintings, Scheidly's debut solo show with the gallery serves as a continuation of his ongoing pink portrait series which first debuted in 2011at a Spoke Art pop up exhibit in New York City. Opening on Thursday, August 1st, Scott will be in attendance for this show... which will be awesome to attend! A brand new limited edition print will also be available for purchase at this event. "The Pinks" will be on view until Saturday, August 24th.
