Continuing to raise the bar for customizers everywhere,
Charles Rodriguez creates the wonderful "Sahul" Munny for the
previously announced MunnyMunth contest. Not satisfied to only be a stellar artist, Rodriguez adds animal endangerment commentary to his piece:
"Sahul" is a koala who has lost his home and decides to take a boomerang to protect the "Next home", If he has luck. The biggest problem for this good friend is that their bushland (or "habitat") is being cut down to make way for houses. Koalas are protected by law but their homes and food aren't. The Australian Koala Foundation estimates that about 4000 koalas are killed each year by cars or dogs, largely the result of habitat loss and increased housing and industrial developments.
